dc.description.abstract | In this paper, given the desired peak power requirement of the solar photovoltaics (SPV) power plant, computation of parameters of mathematical model of the SPV module along with aggregation parameters are considered. The SPV module model parameters are estimated by adjusting it to nonlinear current-voltage(I-V) equation at the three notable points on the I-V curve, which are provided by all commercial PV array data sheets. An appropriate process is evolved for estimating the number of SPV modules required for a given power specification, using constraints on converter voltage ratings. Various test cases are illustrated to appreciate aggregation process of SPV modules to form SPV power plant. The results presented form a basic step in power system analysis with SPV integration. 2017 IEEE. | en_US |
